I can’t believe it has been almost a year since my class of 2020 seniors have graduated. What a crazy year it has been, too! The winter is always my slowest time of year so I figured I would get caught up on some old blog posts. I love the relationships I get to form through this business and sometimes they turn into lasting friendships. This is one of them. Alayna and her mama are the absolute sweetest and I got to know them even better during our destination shoot in California last February (still need to do a blog post about that one). I still talk to Alayna’s mom regularly and am so thankful for her friendship.
Alayna is so sweet and funny and never afraid to speak her mind, which I love. Her session was full of laughs and she is a natural in front of the camera….scroll through to see for yourself!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I want to be in a new state, fresh out of college and entering physical therapy school.
Name 3 things on your bucket list:
- Go on a shopping spree with no budget
- Go in a hot air balloon
- Eat dinner in the sky
What is the best advice you’ve ever been given:
From my soccer coach in middle school: “You miss 100% of the shots that you don’t take.” I think about that ALL the time.
What was your favorite memory from your senior year?
Going to California on a destination shoot with Iris Images!
Here is what Alayna had to say about her experience with Iris Images:
“Working with Pam was like gaining another family member. I loved how she is always in a good mood…even when she’s in the zone and she THINKS she’s being a little “crazy”, she still apologizes. It just goes to show how sweet and caring she is and I wouldn’t have wanted any other photographer to capture the bittersweet moments of my senior year.”
Alayna also participated in the snow mini shoot and cap and gown minis:
