Since we are all at home right now due to the current health crisis, I figured this would be the perfect time to start blogging again and featuring my class of 2020 seniors. I not only wanted to share some pictures from their sessions but I also wanted to highlight a little bit of who they are and how they are coping with this unique time in their lives. So I sent each senior a few questions to add to the blog posts.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Graduating college and hopefully starting a career and submerging myself into the real world after college.
Name three things on your bucket list:
- Experience the Northern Lights
- Swim in each of the major oceans
- Visit an elephant sanctuary
Best advice you’ve ever been given:
Best advice was given by my mother and it’s “don’t worry what other people think.” Be yourself regardless of what others think. Be unique.
What is your favorite senior memory so far?
It was a day at my lunch table back in October. I had all my friends at my table and we laughed and giggled about everything that we could think of. We poked fun at each other and laughed so hard our cheeks began to ache. Having all of them together for 30 minutes out of the whole day made it 10x better.
What’s the first thing you’re going to do when social distancing is over?
Go to the movies! There’s nothing I enjoy more than going to see a new movie, reclined in a big red chair and eating popcorn
What can you not live without during quarantine?
My art book or the books on my bookshelves
What has been your favorite thing to pass the time while social distancing?
Make coffee at home, draw, read a new book
Here is what Avery had to say about her senior experience with Iris Images:
“I had an amazing experience with Iris Images! I had so much fun during my senior sessions and laughed a ton (especially when a spider almost landed on my sister’s head during a shoot!) I felt so comfortable and would do it again in a heartbeat! I also did a bunch of the mini shoots and those are so much fun! They are definitely memories I’ll cherish for a long time!”
Here are some photos from the themed mini shoots Avery participated in!
