Their senior year is almost over already….I can’t believe it! It’s time to start featuring my class of 2021 seniors. First off is Teagan! Teagan was one of my first shoots last summer and it was a memorable one. I got up at 4:30 in the morning to make it out to her family’s lake house for sunrise pictures and even though I’m not a morning person, it was totally worth it. We then planned some pictures downtown and a sunset session with her horse, which are some of my favorite images. Check them out below and read more about Teagan!
What are your plans for after high school?
I’m going to get my undergrad at Metro! Then will be applying to Iowa State for my Vet degree! As I am going to school, I will be working full-time as a vet assistant.
What will you miss most about high school?
I’m going to miss my teachers and all the experiences I got from going to school at the Zoo! I also will miss singing and dancing on stage in show choir.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about my love for animals and the work I do with them!
If you could give juniors one piece of advice for their senior year, what would it be?
Enjoy it, have fun…it flies by faster than you’ll think!
What has been your favorite memory from senior year?
Being able to create the bond with my friends and teachers one last time! Also being able to share the stage with my girls for a performance one last time.
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
- Become a livestock vet
- Travel to Texas and watch rodeos!
- Own a rescue center
What is one unusual or fun fact about you?
I enjoy being at the barn with my horse and my bunnies and favorite people!

Did you know that all of my seniors get the opportunity to participate in mini shoots for FREE throughout their senior year? Teagan participated in the Christmas mini shoots out at Nordstrom’s tree farm. We got so lucky this year and it snowed so beautifully right before the shoot!
