I know their senior year is now over but I still have a few class of 2020 seniors left to feature! (I sent them a questionnaire when quarantine was in full swing in the spring so some of the responses in this post may be a little outdated.) I saw Heidi more than any of my other class of 2020 seniors last year. Heidi participated in almost all of the extra free shoots that I offer for my seniors and I’m so happy she did. She is so fun to be around and I really enjoyed getting to know her. Be sure to scroll all the way through to see some images from those extra shoots!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Working towards my PA degree! After graduating, I would love to work in a pediatric clinic.
Name three things on your bucket list:
- Travel to all 50 states
- Swim with dolphins
- Do a 5k Color Run
Best advice you’ve ever been given:
Every minute you spend upset is a minute of happiness you’ll never get back. Learn to let things go and instead focus on what makes you happy!
What is your favorite memory from senior year?
The Titan/Monarch football game! Not only did we win, but the game was also on my birthday, which made things even better!
What’s the first thing you’re going to do when social distancing is over?
Hopefully travel again! My family is supposed to go on vacation soon so hopefully everything will be back to normal by then.
What can you not live without during quarantine?
Veggie straws are a must for quarantine!
What has been your favorite thing to pass the time while social distancing?
I’ve gone on a bunch of walks. It’s nice to just go outside and get some fresh air!
Here is what Heidi had to say about her senior portrait experience with Iris Images:
“Oh my gosh, I don’t even know where to start with Pam! Besides her being the sweetest person ever, she will make your senior session one that you will never forget. Don’t worry about posing because by the end of the day, Pam will turn you into an expert! I don’t think there was a single shoot that we weren’t laughing and having a good time. Pam also does a bunch of mini shoots throughout the year, which are always a blast. Definitely consider Iris Images if you’re looking for a unique and unforgettable senior session!”
Here is what Heidi’s mom had to say about their experience:
“Wow where to start. Iris Images provides a senior picture session unlike anyone else. She cares so deeply about her seniors and always goes the extra mile to put a smile on their faces. Before your senior’s session, Pam will have a meeting to discuss packages, locations, and other details regarding the session. During the session Pam will help your senior pose, which relieves a lot of stress! She is so fun and will have your senior laughing and smiling the whole time. Our daughter ADORED Pam! We knew Pam was special from the beginning, but the fact that she did mini shoots for the girls in their prom dresses and cap and gowns was extraordinary. Our daughter was bummed she was going to miss out on these important senior milestones, but Pam tried to give her 2020 seniors the experiences they worked so hard for. This just shows how Pam truly cares about her seniors and goes above and beyond to give them an unforgettable experience and beautiful senior pictures. She exceeded our expectations in every way. We would recommend Iris Images to everyone looking for an unforgettable senior photo session. Our two younger children cannot wait to have their photo sessions with Pam in the near future! You will not regret choosing Iris Images for your son/daughter’s senior photos! Truly a great experience. Thank you, Pam!”
The following are some images from all of the extra styled and themed shoots Heidi participated in throughout the year. All my seniors have the opportunity to participate in these fun extra shoots I offer throughout the year for FREE. I do these shoots for fun and it gives my girls some extra content to share on social media over the course of their senior year. For most of these shoots, they sign up for a 15 minute time slot and they end up receiving around 10 watermarked images from the shoot to share. I do a lot of the same themes from year to year (usually based on holidays) and some years I do more than others…just depends on what time allows. I am so happy Heidi was able to participate in so many of the shoots!
Wildflower Shoot
’70s Camp Shoot
Sometimes the extra shoots are more detailed like this one where we did a ’70s camp shoot with my friend Leah from Wild Plum Photo and a few of her girls. They drove in from Kearney, NE for the evening and it was a blast!
Halloween Shoot
Christmas Shoot
New Years Eve Shoot
Valentine’s Day Shoot
Project Beauty Shoot
Project Beauty is a shoot I do every year where the girls don’t wear any makeup and I don’t retouch the photos at all in photoshop. This shoot is to show the girls how naturally beautiful they are!
College Gear Shoot
Prom Dress Shoot
This was the first year that I offered a prom dress mini shoot for my girls because so many dances were cancelled due to COVID. This broke my heart and I wanted to give them a chance to wear those beautiful dresses!
Cap and Gown Shoot
I had never done cap and gown shoots until this year either. Again, due to COVID, so many missed out on their traditional graduation ceremonies so the least I could do is take some amazing images of them in their cap and gowns.
AS YOU CAN SEE, I VALUE GIVING MY SENIORS A ONE-OF-A-KIND EXPERIENCE THAT THEY’LL ALWAYS REMEMBER FROM THEIR SENIOR YEAR. IF YOU WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS, CONTACT ME SOON TO GET ON THE CALENDAR! SEND ME AN EMAIL THROUGH MY CONTACT PAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION!
